La Terre est Notre Métier, the french organic farmers fair

La Terre est Notre Métier was the first organic farming professional fair set up in France. It is organized every two years in Retiers, Bretagne, France.

The specificity of La Terre est Notre Métier is that this fair is organized by three organic farmers organisations of North-West of France. It is the national fair of the French Organic Farmers Organisation. As a farmers organisation, our field of expertise allows us to be very close to what matters to organic and non-organic farmers, and very close to organic farming development issues. Through this fair, we share our skills and our vision of what organic farming should be to us: demanding, fair, and for the benefit of local economy, people and nature.

La Terre est Notre Métier is designed to be a place for practices, techniques and ideas exchange. Our guiding principle: friendliness. It is a great networking place thanks to its conference program, its organic plant breeding showcase and its machines demo program. We are committed to show how innovative and technical organic agriculture can be.

  • 35 research, technics and economic development conferences
  • 160 exhibitors
  • 50 animations and machines demo planned
  • organic plant breeding showcase
  • Cabaret des savoir-faire paysans: the farmers expertise open forum
  • 10 000 visitors
