Introduction
Start your journey in Chiayi, taking a shuttle to the High Speed Rail station and traveling to Taipei. The first stop is Longshan Temple, a masterpiece of traditional Chinese architecture. After enjoying lunch, visit the National Palace Museum, home to over 600,000 invaluable Chinese art treasures. Next, experience the solemn Changing of the Guard at Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. Continue with a visit to Taipei 101 (excluding the observatory) before enjoying free time in the bustling Ximending district.
The next part of the tour takes you to Yehliu Geopark, known for its fascinating rock formations like the Queen’s Head. Then, explore Jiufen Old Street, famous for its narrow alleys and traditional shops, while savoring local cuisine. Finally, visit Shifen Old Street, where you can release a sky lantern to send your wishes into the sky. After a full day of sightseeing, return to Taipei.
This comprehensive tour combines Taiwan’s cultural heritage, scenic landscapes, and local traditions in a memorable two-day experience.
