Workshops are independently organised one or more sessions during the Organic World Congress. Workshops allow researchers, farmers, experts and students to meet face-to-face and have interactive discussions.
Workshops address various topics by extending the content of the 4 Tracks through case studies and group discussion.

Main Objectives of the Workshop
- To emphasize the importance of knowledge and capacity development in empowering organic farmers globally
- To build a strong network of farmers and advocates equipped with practical organic knowledge
- To identify challenges and opportunities for organic agriculture through participatory exercises and collaboration
Main outcomes expected
Participants will get an insight into the strategies and practices employed by different institutions involved in organic capacity development, from global farmers’ associations like Naturland and their newly launched Naturland Academy, regional federations like IFOAM Organics Asia, local and national organisations. Participants will share knowledge, get new insights, and possibly consider strategies for collaboration to strengthen global organic knowledge.
